Our RADAR-602 boards are trailer mounted, self powered (solar) Variable Message Signs with equipped with Radar Guns.
They have remote and satellite tracking,
radar speed readout and data logging capabilities. These portable signs are programmable.
They can be used for traffic management on
road projects, mining sites, in school zones, car parks, or to notify of changes in speed zones, and other applications.

Programming Options
The VMS Designer software (running on Windows 2000 or later) enables communication with your Sign via:
1. PC -> Serial port (Direct Connect)
2. PC Modem -> GSM (over Mobile network)
3. WEB-SEND - PC with Internet -> Sign (via Data Signs server)
4. VMS Palette (see description below)
5. PC -> GPRS [Enabling real-time communications with all your RADAR Signs and/or VMS Displays!]
The SMS Designer software (running on Windows 2000 or later) enables SMS communication to your Sign via:
1. PC with Internet -> Sign (using DirectSMS [Australia-wide] or Clickatell [International] service)
You can also SMS new messages to your Sign directly from your mobile phone!

The VMS Designer software can be used to fully program your VMS display, including Scheduling and Timed messages. See the screen-shot above.
It is also very simple to create great animations, moving text, etc.
The software comes with an easy to read Manual that explains all the functionality in detail, with screen-shots.
The VMS Designer and SMS Designer software packages are included as part of your Data Signs RADAR-602 Sign purchase;
they can be downloaded from the Support page using your Signs' Serial Number and VIN.
These software packages (VMS Designer, SMS Designer) are for exculsive use with Data Signs manufactured products only.
